Sun Filled Flowers Along The Road Poem by Robert Beksinski

Sun Filled Flowers Along The Road

A face full of sky

Freckles of stars

Scattered across your skin

Like pinpoints on a map

That I am still traveling

Going forever in this direction

Because the scenery is beautiful

I am attached and fulfilled

Laying in a grassy plain

Looking up into the night

Staring into your omniscient eyes

You have become my home

In your heart I sleep and dream

And worship this ground

Where my head rests

I absorb it all

I breathe

Mind, body, and soul are free

I can finally breathe
