Sunflower Poem by Nassy Fesharaki

Sunflower

Sunflower

Unlike Bush I declare war
Unlike Obama I ban drone
So, sunflower arm yourself.

For cruel fight be prepared,
I am coming with dynamites
I will shoot you to the skies.

Sunflower, be ready, beware
This warning is what I declare:
“I hate your brainless, turns.”

You are the friend of willow
Your brains emptied, hollow
I love the rock, frozen snow.

Sunflower I will burn you
From you I make bar-B-Q
Your ash, remove of skew.

Friends are straight, honest
Hearts and hands ask lowest
For giving, are morning dew.

Awesome opening lines you had it going from the beginning and kept up with the pace and flow, an interesting take on sunflowers normally one of beauty and serenity, yet you see them as something else entirely, An interesting read thank you for sharing.
