Sure I Learned How To Survive (Double Bussokusekika) Poem by Edwin Tanguma

Sure I Learned How To Survive (Double Bussokusekika)

Sure I Learned How To Survive (Double Bussokusekika)

When I was younger
I took advice from my friends
And not my parents
I learned a hell of a lot
Sure I learned how to survive
On the streets and in prison

Life was easy then
Without a care in the world
It was about me
Who needed a wife and kids
Little did I know- I did
They are the ones who saved us

P.s.I wish I had not wasted so much time learning what
little I know now...

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
Life sure did seem so much easier when I was wasted and high...It was so easy believing I gave a sh** about others when I really only gave a sh** about myself...Oh well...LOL...Shoot...If I were still stoned I could still be all alone in my own little world of make believe...
Living such a wonderful life...With all of my wonderful friends and their great advice...Thank God for small miracles...I quit smoking weed, and I hope I have grown up, with a loving family...I sure hope one day we will be together again...If God is willing...But until then...I will just have to keep on surviving...hehehe...I really don't have anything against medical marijuana though...I do believe it truly is a wonder drug...
