Surveying Moon And Thinking Of Far

Rating: 4.0

★ Surveying Moon and Thinking of Far

☆ Poetry by Zhang Jiuling (678-740, Tang Dynasty, China)
☆ Translation by Luo Zhihai (1954-, China)

On the sea there is vast moonlight
All over the world at this time
A couple of lovers grumble the far night each in a different corner
At the long night longs for each other
Blow out candle light and pity the moonlight
Put on clothes think the dew cool then
Difficult to pick up it to send my family members
Sleep again and will dream to date them

★ 望月怀远

☆ 张九龄 诗

海上生明月
天涯共此时
情人怨遥夜
竟夕起相思
灭烛怜光满
披衣觉露滋
不堪盈手赠
还寝梦佳期
