Suspicious Poem by Nassy Fesharaki

Suspicious

Suspicious

Go online and Google,
USA, Britain, turned UK.

No stop; search further,
Soviet Union,
And China of today.

I warn you, be aware,
May lose your religion!

Thank you but no thanks,
To you, politicians, Royals
For being shameful cause.

Eagerly was in search,
To find my ancestors,
Ending with Zoroaster.

Encountered Maneckji,
Read of his date of birth,
His actions to his death,
He, too is, suspicious!

His parents, Zoroastrians
Ran away, refuged,
So, he, an Indian
Chose to be an agent,
For rulers of London…

Even if loved Iran,
Even if he meant it,
Still is suspicious!

The Iran's Zoroastrians
And Prairie's reserves,
Are treated the same:
"Colonized must obey,
Laws written by winners! "

Said Malcolm, Napier:
"The Zoroastrians suffer! "
