Sweet Death
Will I find what has been searched for?
When is there going to be a feeling of peace?
Will I find everlasting peace that is promised to me?
Will my questions be answered with understanding?
Will I find time to surrender at four score and ten?
When are we going on the ultimate journey to the unknown?
When are you going to say your name to me?
Sweet Angel of death.
this poem was for an elderly man that was a stranger preparing to die.
I hope he found his answers! ! !
howard its a very touching poem.... i pondered a long time....especiallly so cause my father lies in the ICU...fighting for his life....and as i see him slowly slip....it saddens me...ur poem has brought it in sharp focus tc and ten
