Sweet Little Me Poem by jane solanrobertson

Sweet Little Me

Rating: 3.0

I'm tired and sluggish
I feel a bit weak
I get my words muddled when I try to speak
I'm bloated and spotty
And feeling today
Like the whole world had better stay out of my way
The kids will annoy me
And friends will be wrong
And Heaven help the one who gets the length of my tongue
I sulk and I shout
And I burst into tears
And swear I've been thinking of leaving for years
I slam cupboard doors
And snap'IM okay -
But everyone's out to upset me today'.
I fly up the stairs
And collapse on the bed
With creased-up stomach and pounding head
When I awake
I'm sweet little me -
Just a simple case of P.M.T!
