Sweet Nothingness Poem by prabhakar bhatlekar

Sweet Nothingness

Empty life flit through
the thick woods of questions
singing song of vast nothingness.
So much wanted and unwanted
forced my bag bulge
and then burst torn..
Some time it's a happy business
though seems meaningless.
In this party of losers
crazy songs blurting out
without stopping the search
for lost things.
All like a play to enact
the difficult role
with words forgotten and
rooting on the stage.
Still a thundering applause.
Shafts of hallucination
make the dark more thick.
Oh the great past performance
glitter over the empty life.
Let the show go on..it's maya.
It's intoxicating..and then
to hold the torch with
tired hands and start
and start the run...
