'Sweetheart' Poem by ANKWASA HARLORD

'Sweetheart'

Rating: 5.0

They thought they can bury us,
But we were seeds.
They thought they can drown us,
But we were fish.
They thought they can hold us,
But we were air.
They thought they can burn us,
But we were ashes.
They thought they can part us,
But were magnet.
They thought...!
But to assure them,
IT'S A FOREVER
We will always rise.
Nor the sky is our limit.
