Triolus in his sore need
beseeched and pled his case
to his friend Pindarus
Criseyde's uncle and protector
when things went awry
they cried for salvation
and the matchmaker was
accused of pimping
are not, a scheming father
and conniving mother
who for their offspring plan
meetings and marriages
should we use a softer note
to describe the same office
ethics are of the mind
and of the beholder
