Tagore Song (171) Forget Why I Come To Thy Door Wanting How Many Things Poem by Tushar Ray

Tagore Song (171) Forget Why I Come To Thy Door Wanting How Many Things

(tomar dware keno aasi vulei je jai)

I forget why I come to Thy door
How many things I wanted -
After being ashamed
I return home at the day’s end:
Asking item only for pleasure pain
Floating in my mouth,
As my secret wish lacking word
Lives in my deep-heart

Desires are as if bound to buds
Will burst out wither in southern wind
Single wish comes out from interior
Blossoming out in dawn light
Through my life current
Resonant with deep wish in my heart
