Take Us Home Poem by Sandra Osborne

Take Us Home

Rating: 2.8

I saw the sunshine
Floating,
There upon the wind.

I saw the children
Crying,
They have no food again.

I heard their pain,
Laughing,
Out in the cold.

I know their minds
Thinking,
Who has sold our souls?

I saw their eyes
Pleading,
Someone take us home.

I just stood there
Knowing,
We are all so alone.
