Taken Soul Poem by Crystal Pierce

Taken Soul

I killed a squirrel
to help the world.
I killed my father
to save my daughter.

I sacrificed my brother
to heal my dying mother.
I took my grandpa's life
to give a husband a wife.

I lost my best friend
to keep the world from total end.
I pushed my husband of a cliff
to see my child's hand lift.

I take soul after soul
for an eternity, for a toll.
I'll sell myself to he; ;
if I was't well.

I sold myself
to the devil Himself
I have no soul
and on my life it has taken a toll.

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
Well, this one was suppose to start out with a herd of squirrels chasing me, but then I couldn't come up with the words for it.
