Tamed But Not Owned Poem by Augustus Billy Mutebesi

Tamed But Not Owned

A heart wants the other heart
that wants another,
The other heart is blinded
by some other.
Still charmed and bound,
Not free,
Not loved,
Tamed,
But not owned.

In this blemished earth,
A solitude heart desires a wild one.
A wild one the wilder.
And the wilder the wildest.
