When you dream tonight.
I hope that you dream of a rose with
many different folds that open at
the sight of you.
And in this dream you can laugh and
play in a way that you haven't in a
long time.
Where there are no clocks, just the
many different folds of what could
be considered your forever rose.
No matter how much time you spend
there, I hope that you never notice
the reciprocation of withering folds
as no one would be able to find you
again.
For one beautiful thing deserves
another, just don't forget to place
your rose patterned bookmark in
case you wake up too soon.
A fear that you're needed
somewhere else,
somewhere far less simple.
I have no doubt that you'll find your
way back.
After all it's in your
nature.
So before you go to sleep tonight
and dream your way to your forever rose.
Rest your weary heart and imagine
the way the petals feel beneath your feet.
Soon you'll be there,
Where you too can nurture and be nurtured.
Where you're free to run without
fear of thorns
