Teacher: The Replica Of God Poem by Nivedita Dutta

Teacher: The Replica Of God

Like an oasis in a desert
They are scarce in this earth
Puts a scar in my heart
My longing for their presence
Their canings might disturb
But their virtue becomes my verb
Their actions sometimes might go wrong
But their heart is not that cruel
They are the lord of lords
For they tells us who is god

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
I wrote this when the year 2011 was nearing its end. I was having my winter holidays. After four days my school was going to reopen. I was feeling terrible to think that i couldnt dig up even a single poem in this gap.So i sat down to write one and i ended up having this. As for dedication it is dedicated to my english teacher who taught me from 6th standard till 9th and many other teachers like him who work hard to bring out the talent in us.
