I was getting out when it started to rain
This time was different like it was stimulating my brain
I hided under the bridge, waiting for it to drain

It, surprisingly, tastes salty, I realised when waiting for the train
Am I dreaming? or I’m, just, going insane
Is it a chemical experiment they could not control or sustain?

Ironically, it is… ours… an experiment which we failed to maintain
These tears were from the sky, what a civil way from nature to complain!
If we don’t wake up now, death would be the only thing, for us, to obtain
