Teenage Year Painful Path Poem by Samuel A. Eyitayo

Teenage Year Painful Path

Adolescence is not easy
It's a time full of angst and upheaval
A time when you're trying to find yourself
And figure out who you want to be

It can be a painful path at times
Full of drama and heartache
But it's also a time of great growth
When you learn and mature so much

So don't despair if things are tough
Just keep moving forward, day-by-day
Eventually you'll make it through
To the other side of these teenage years

The teenage years are a painful path
For many, it's a time of great strife
Many struggles with who they are
And who they want to be

It's a time of awkwardness and insecurity
A time of pimples and first love
A time when you're trying to find your way
And sometimes it feels like you're all alone

But don't despair, those teenage years will end
And you'll look back on them with a smile
Remember the good times and the bad
And use those experiences to help you grow.
