Tell Me A Lie Poem by Mukesh Williams

Tell Me A Lie

Unless I am Pinocchio
A lie that hurts others is calumny
And subject to litigation.

A lie that hurts me is delusion
And the subject of poetry
And I needn't ask Geppetto.

A lie that doesn't hurt me or another
Qualifies to be fiction
Even wooden lies have a tendency to grow.
