Terrorism - Not In My Name Poem by Paul Warren

Terrorism - Not In My Name

Rating: 5.0

I was programmed by my genes
And by my family not to demean
For my Christian teachings agree
To help the oppressed to be free
And give us all a clear indication
How to behave within our nation.

I wonder how I would have felt
If as a Muslim believer I was dealt
Others as a terrorist in my name
Cutting heads off for the fame
Or would mighty Allah teach me
To listen kindly to their plea?

Dear Pual. I am a Muslim. The Quran is a book of values and great teachings. But some are trying very hard to write ugly scenarios about Islam. This is not the truth. To all friends I just call them to read this book to fill the their gap of knowledge and to enjoy a great Divine literature. By the way I have put your name in my list of favorite poets. I did really like your work.

This war is just another religous war...i don't believe in the b.s they televised, trying to brain wash us to hate muslims because isreal thinks they are the true religion. each war has been to do with religion at some point of the way, we just figure while we're there we take their resources. at the end of the day...who invaded who? great job..loved it.
