Test Poem by Paul Reed

Test

So you thought the rain would flood me out
Or, if not, the heat would bring me drought
You brought the impenetrable blackness of all that ails
And icy rivers, quivered by gales

Fog that descended and wrapped me around
Even put securely-held joys out of bounds
But now for your information, to keep you abreast
I am still here and have passed your test!
