In my darkest fears, in my hardest tears I want to be close to you.

Your sweet whisper and soft touch are here but I cant feel em'.

You know just what to do to make me realize your right by my side.

I go to church and read your word but never knew you were so much more.

Your my light bright and burning to bring me through this world you created.

Since the hardest day of my life when I was scared to death

you told me everything would be OK.

Even when I made my hardest decision you were there to lead me through.

I didn't feel like I was on my own anymore

You took my broken parts and put me together.

I'll never stop loving the one that watched me grow

and when my time is through I'll be ready to go.
