Thank You 2015 Poem by Abby Sze

Thank You 2015

Flashing back in 2015 when I crumbled all my life up
Things were going all against me and life torn me apart
Like chewing ice in a snowy days and beaten up on a bleeding wound
In the swamp I struggled to get my feet back to ground
In the mud I saw your smile and you're holding my hands

I was a kid living real-life horror film
Never would I know when will the ghost hit me with their axe
I'm prepared and ready to be fleshed up
Yes I'm prepared and ready to be swallowed by the burning hell
In the hell I saw your smile and you're holding my hands
And you told me this hell hurts but it won't forever last

Like a seed in rock needs a ray of sun and a dying man in desert needs a drop of water
You're giving all the kindness I ever needed
That last night at the 10 days meditation camp in 2019
I couldn't stop the tears because 2015 is no longer haunting in my dreams
All I ever do is believing in you
I believe I saw your smile and you're still holding my hands
And you showed me that hell hurt but it didn't forever last
And my little heart received all the love it needs
No poems could write enough thankfulness I want to give
