Thank You Santa Poem by Gianni Pintus

Thank You Santa

I can feel it,
I can smell,
of hot chestnuts,
and I can smell,
the hot sausage,
in the air,
I can see the festive stall,
and all kids playing it all.

Wow...I can see,
the lights and trees,
I can feel Christmas,
in my street.

Nevermind if it will rain,
I can feel all this coming,
and on the horizon,
I saw the reindeers,
flying near the chimney top,
throwing presents,
in the neighbourhood plots.

It's so good to feel all this snow,
make me happy and wonder,
to see all this white flakes,
it's so good to feel it,
and i'm so happy stay awake.

I already wrote my note,
I left it on top my chimney sill,
I hope he will read it,
then I will wait till,
the morning come,
with impatience,
to see if he brought it,
then I will say thank you,
to him even I know,
he already gone.
