Thanks for letting me be me
My boyish ways with you
So simple so in love I was
With you I felt brand new
You let me pour my love
In many ways each day
Perhaps a bit too much I know
My feelings did display
But I felt great just knowing
That someone cared for me
And that someone was you
You let myself be me
