Thanksgiving Poem by Kevin Seales

Thanksgiving

Rating: 1.5

Thanksgiving is a time for sharing
With your neighbors, family, and friends
People with no home, who feels all alone
Will remember you always amen

Thanksgiving comes once a year
When the leaves decide to fall
In the oven we bake, the pies and the cakes
But the dressing I like most of all

Eating a turkey is our tradition
On this thanksgiving day
I wish we could make it our daily mission
To give thanks every day when we pray

We teach our kids to share with others
And be thankful for what they receive
Also be nice to your sister or brothers
Because in you, they will believe

When you give thanks, before you start
Remember the things that I say
And let it come out, straight from the heart
Have a happy thanksgiving day
