'That One Person' - Poem by yeslin salazar

' WHEN YOU GAVE ME THAT FIRST KISS
I BLUSHED
WHEN YOU WOULD LOOK AT ME
I WOULD HAVE THAT LITTLE TWINKLE IN MY EYE
WHEN YOU SMILED
I FELT LIKE NOTHING MATTERED IN THE WORLD
WHEN YOU WOULD GET ME MAD
I WOULD STILL GIVE YOU 'YOUR SMILE'
WHY DID I LET YOU IN FOR?
WHY DIDNT I JUST SAY NO?
I WISH YOU WOULD JUST GIVE ME MY HEART BACK
SOMETIMES I CANT HANDLE SEEING YOU, BEING AROUND YOU OR BEING IN THE SAME ROOM, AT THE SAMETIME, AT THE SAME PLACE
I HATE YOU
BUT THE MORE I SAY I HATE YOU, THE MORE I LOVE YOU
IM TRYING SO HARD TO GET OVER YOU
BUT I CANT
WHAT IS ABOUT YOU
THAT I CANT GET OVER YOU
BUT LIKE THEY SAY THERE ARE SOMETHINGS
YOUR HEART DONT WANT TO LET GO OF
AND GUESS WHAT?
YOUR ONE OF THOSE THING I JUST CANT GET RID OF
EVEN IF I TRY'
