That Tower Standing Tall

A dark tower standing tall,
Amoung the open plane,
Mocks the understanding,
But wallows in the pain,

What life is known of this,
What stories can be told,
Of this dark towers life,
And what his sights behold

The tower can see everything,
From land, to sky, to moon,
What dark gestures show in this,
That we will know soon,

For god saw,
But does not always see,
What the dark tower has,
But soon,

That is what things will be.

Poem of the Day

poet Li Po

Amongst the flowers I
am alone with my pot of wine
drinking by myself; then lifting
my cup I asked the moon
to drink with me, its reflection
and mine in the wine cup, just
