That Tree and Me
How lonely that tree is!
Lonely, just like me.
How terribly lonely that tree is!
Terribly lonely exactly like me.
She is surrounded by so many other trees;
But none, whom she can recon as her own.
Everyone pretended to be hers;
Hence, the tree knows it well that;
How terribly lonely she is!
In these sonance, the serene solitude belong to this tree only;
This serene solitude is for me, only.

Wonderful poem. The love for a lonely tree and the projection into the poet's own heart. Sure that after writing this, both the tree and the poet were a bit less lonely! When I connect with nature like this, I feel every time a bit more connected to the whole world
