I saw it in the old mans lips
as he kissed her darlings hand
his fatal kiss, simple but a factor
putting the happily in her ever after
I saw it in the best friends eyes
looking at the tears of his hidden love
her broken soul, his untold desires
her shatterd heart he dreams to aquire
I saw it in the soft skin of hands
with the lovers walking but down the street
although two men, they shine as stars
as the decieving eyes mocked them from afar
I saw it in the poking of the finger against the back
the little boy dreaming of that little girl
with her hand she pushed, that finger of truth
for a boy who could never say 'i love you'
I saw it in the race of this earth
as the boy black the girl white did sit
their love was strong, as they were mocked a descrase
to this little thing we call the human race
I saw it in the teeage smile
as she approached the boy she loved
I break your heart his eyes did swear
all for a boy whose smiles didnt care
I saw it as the hooker played,
with the emotions of her clients
although her lips moved her eyes looked away
for her love was strong in her uncertain heart
and the pain of her to stave could rip her faimly apart
You see it everyday, not knowing what you see
uncertainty takes over affecting what the truth may be
love is lost, love is blind
love effects your undying heart, love makes drems in your minds
if all i see is love i show, when will this come
to a girl who knows
