The Answer Poem by Minerva Agriam

The Answer

Would you answer me
When I ask you why?
The sun standstill when
You walked by,
The flowers swayed with the winds
When you dream,
The stars gave away
Their brightness,
The birds sang joyfully
By your side,
The moon shined brightly
To find your smile,
The grasses bend to give
Soft mantle upon your feet,
The spring sprung out
Life giving waters,
And the ungodly spirits
Hide in fear?
Are you the answer, the messenger
Of truth, the bringer of life eternal?
Would you answer me
When I ask you why?
