The Baby Poem by Phil Soar

The Baby

I kissed the lips of velvet
Warmed within our light embrace
My senses pleased, my pulse increased
I ran my hands across her face
Her beauty there before me
Made tears flow and then
I took the baby in my arms
And kissed her once again
