The Beauty Of Nature Is All Around Me Poem by Francis Duggan

The Beauty Of Nature Is All Around Me

The beauty of Nature is all around me
The wattlebirds call on the blossoming tree
The kangaroos in the bright sunshine of day
Amongst the rank rushes are hidden away
Though little of Nature I do seem to know
My wonder of her beauty only does grow
A small family of tiny blue wrens are hopping on the ground
Where they are to be seen you know that insects abound
The beauty of Nature is for all to see
In her many creatures the wild and the free
The song of the magpie so lovely to hear
He pipes on a gum tree to where I am near
The last day of June in Winter a beautiful day
And the white cockies call and life with me okay.
