I follow the bird
Of sorrow and sadness
I feel your pain
I sence the madness
I can relate
To how you feel
I know your pain
Is something real
I empathize with you
all the way through
I dont know why
I follow such pain
I dont know why
My eyes leak
Like rain
I dont know how
To empty these thoughts
All I know
Is that these thoughts haunt
These thoughts haunt
My mind and soul
Trapping me
In this big dark whole
The only way
For me to leave
Is to follow the bird
That makes me bleed
Because even though
He hurts me so
He makes me stronger
For my mind can grow
