The Black Dress Poem by Diana Newsome

The Black Dress

Rating: 4.7

Thrashing rain, parting skies
Halting phantoms, shadows roam
Etching motion, scattering sound

Breathing twilight, bitter chill
Lurching voices, beckoning sighs
Azure casting, dark~blue hunter
Conductor flashing, raging thunder
Kneading soil, quenching nature

Dousing gravel, silvery road
Restless landscape, heaves and moans
Early morning, still~life flutters
Sweeping colors, artist pallet...
Silouetting earth, in tones.
