This beautiful blue necklace,
I wonder of your past.
You shine with such wonder,
I think of others who have played fast,
Fast and loose with the truth,
To wear you round their neck.
The nights that you have seen
And the days you have laid to rest.
You have had such adventures
Upon those weary souls.
You have seen so many people
Striving for their goals.
You sparkle so enchantingly,
You mirror all the joy,
That so dear and lovingly
Was provided by the boy.
