The brain is a paradox, I‘m sure you’ll agree,
Of natural intelligence and stupidity,
I’ll give you an example, despite the fact,
This case in point makes me look a prat!
When making some colleagues a drink, without thinking,
My brain pondered what type of beverage they were drinking,
So it promptly considered this problem quite slickly,
And two options were identified fairly quickly,
Sniffing the empty mugs was one,
To know what they’d had before,
Or should I check the time of day,
And should coffee now be poured.
It was then my Brain got rather confused,
And tied itself up in knots,
As I hoisted my sleeve above my wrist,
And promptly sniffed my watch.
