Tonight I saw a brand new star,
It twinkled in my eye.
It shone much brighter than all the rest,
As I gazed upon the sky.
I'd never seen this star before,
From the many times I gazed.
It's brilliant energy captured me.
I truly was amazed.
I knew this star was different.
This star it brought me peace.
It was as if God had a secret,
A secret he just released.
I recognized it's energy.
It's energy was love.
It was pure and true and beautiful.
As it shone from up above.
I asked the star a question.
I asked how it came to be.
The star replied, 'I was conceived on earth.'
'Then the earth, it set me free'
'I used to live a life of fear'
'But now I am at peace'
'I have become eternity'
'Now my soul has been released'
'I will be with you for the rest of your days.'
'And when your time does come'
'I will be here waiting for you'
'We will all become as one.'
