The Brush: Poem by Chris Leermakers

The Brush:

We started off unannounced
made gradual progressions
lived and traveled
to countless destinations
wherever It Is
whatever It Is
our minds travel far and wide
At times, we can't discover
the sole reasons why we hide

Truth, knowledge, wisdom
Freedom
is what we're aiming for
searching
even when we find It
there sometimes
still remains a locked door

To life there is a catch
to things unseen
or unheard
of before
but If they make a match
we definitely yearn for more

take life as it comes
accept your limitations
be bareful of the binds
and mind manipulations
even though intelligent
some still lack time for living
at times being careless,
judging,
misjudging
in what we are giving
be still My restless heart
and forget, redirect
the false clues
all the false knowledge

It's time to react
to review perspectives
of certain views
again paint a picture
don't bother
trying to hide
the things
that you yave painted
as the brush cannot forget…...
