The Bumper Harvest

A bumper harvest comes when conditions are right
and the farmers are able to recognize this by sight;
there's been enough rain and sun to nourish the soil
with preparations of their own basic labor and toil.

Sowing and reaping are the main activities involved
to get that desired produce for the harvest to unfold.
With nature's co-operation in all of the land around
the seeds that are sown can grow out of the ground.

But this may not be at all absolutely and entirely true
for there'll be certain times or places that affect it too;
some crops only grow at a particular time of the year
in places where the climate's favorable without fear.

The sowing of the plant's seed where it has adapted
is a major factor for the reaping and harvest exacted.
The wiles of nature will also play an important role
as there may be some pests around to take their toll.

All of the above considerations are in the farmer's mind
which are dealt with for the harvest to be a bumper kind.
Anything less would not be very profitable at all to see
and may impose a burden from which it's hard to be free.
