The Burden Of Existence Is Not That Heavy Poem by Raj Dronamraju

The Burden Of Existence Is Not That Heavy

The world is a donkey
And we kick it when we want it to move
Load it down with heavy objects

Avocado-shaped
The mule headed officer makes the stubborn doldrums break
We are upset and passionate and that's a good thing

The world is a donkey
And we feed it oats once a day
Each day I rise and give the day my all
There is no greater responsibility than this
