The Chinese Wall(Two Pairs Of Couplets) Poem by Luo Zhihai

The Chinese Wall(Two Pairs Of Couplets)

★ The Chinese Wall(Two Pairs of Couplets)

☆ Quatrain & Translation by Luo Zhihai (1954-, China)

Stand as firm as a rock, the post supporting roof beam
As strong as iron, the Chinese wall
Sowing rain and cultivating clouds. Love sends a dream
Green hill and viridity valley. Moon through the window

Note: Not long ago, when I watched an American TV play ' Dropdeaddiva', on the subtitle jumped out of words, '防火墙Chinese wall'. It’s so strange. Therefore, the idea of writing this poem conceived. Wall, I think, must be Great Wall.
