The Church Steeple Rebuild Poem by Phil Soar

The Church Steeple Rebuild

When the church rebuilt it's steeple
They made it mighty tall
It was built by the lords best people
And so strong that it won't fall
But the architect of it's demise
Was a corrupt local builder
Her plans were very large in size
And it fell and almost killed her
The congregation prayed for her
Even after it fell down
But the lord in all his mercy
Made it rain so hard, she drowned
