The Climax Poem by Swapan Rakshit

The Climax

Though your softness gives me
Physical strength, that you feel with skin,
Though your embrace generates electricity
That you feel with your chin,
Though your unimaginable expectation
Encourages me to rise above eagle's space,
And to grow strong inside you for a dance-
Without showing any tiresomeness;
Though you watch the sparkles in my eyes
To understand my love and admiration,
Though during a candlelit dinner you make
Your soft sound for growing passion;
Though your unconditional surrender helps
to believe that everything is possible- -
When you spread yourself without trouble
Like an uplifted and pulsating doll.
Though your compassionate presence
Sometimes appears like a death hex,
But my clock remains totally standstill
When we advance nearer to the climax.
