The Clocking Bird Poem by Liam ó Comáin

The Clocking Bird

Beneath a rusting harrow
slant resting by the stable
I found the rhode islands
nest.

Seven eggs beneath the
clocking bird.

As secretive as the migrant
in the lush meadow nearby...

Oh! how beautiful is nature.
