The Consciousness Poem by Harish k. Thakur

The Consciousness

Just sabotage the dream of unhappiness
And land upon the sight of peace
Overlook the ugly zones of life
And lumps of the shapeless time

Are you awakened now?
If not then
Just unmast the pole of your ego
Unrobe your self
And become one
With the self of time
The one of the infinite urge
To keep aloof from the impulses
The perspectivedvisions and join
The stream of consciousness
Equanimity
And wear the robe of timelessness

Feel the warmth of enlightenment
The suppleness of the peace
The gaze of the light
And the bright smiles of the
Two giant lotus lips
Extracting every bit of pain from you

It's not that the horizons are always crimson
They are dark too
At times invisible
Sponged out by the shaking hands
Of the mind architect inside you

But then if you see from inside
Keeping aloof from the other man
With stable, conscious eyes
You find a golden ladder lying awake
Opening to the gate of heaven
