The Creeper Poem by ANJANDEV ROY

The Creeper

Over there the creeper grows along the ground
And encompasses the old wall of the deserted palace,
The wall protects him sincerely like an affectionate mother
And he also certainly gets the cosy shelter in the wall's peaceful silence.
Though the king and his inheritors are no more there,
The benevolent wall of the palace is very much active in the sphere;
To tell the truth in our modern anarchic human world,
We can hardly expect such a noble and generous wall,
As the selfish and greedy people here seldom think for the others.
