The Dance Poem by Diana van den Berg

The Dance

Rating: 5.0

He held out his hand
and she took it
shyly at first
exploring the depth of his eyes,
and then their paso doble began
and the teasing flame became
a raging fire
that roared and whispered
as wild as it was gentle
and they melted
into one.
