The Darkness. Poem by Gangadharan nair Pulingat..

The Darkness.

Rating: 5.0

The messenger was not in smiles
The messenger was not expected
The messenger came with a warrant
Took the precious from the body
And carried away to unknown ways
All ended, beyond the thoughts
Before knowing what is happening
The curtain falls there, then darkness.

Perfectly drawn the face of the death angel! Members of a family know the awful death angel as the poet knew. Death is never welcome but it is the fate of all beings. This poems will get 10. Thanks for your thoughts.

well, I've been looking at the new submissions and I've read four so far, two of which have been very good and two completely awful. Luckily I picked yours next and it is excellent. Very powerfully written with a good rhythm. I think a ten here/ Must read more of yours. Don't think I've read any before. Tom Billsborough
