Shake, O earth! And mountains tremble
at the Lord's great judgment day:
Lofty things will all be humbled,
every idol swept away.
God Almighty, King of heaven,
crushes rebels in their pride.
Even in the deepest cavern
from his wrath they cannot hide.
Then Mount Zion will be raised up,
to God's hill all nations flow,
Come to serve the Lord of Jacob,
all his righteous laws to know,
Ways of war no more to follow;
each will lay aside his sword.
Peace is found — the end of sorrow —
on the mountain of the Lord.
Night has passed, the Day is dawning:
God in glory now appears
See him shine—the Star of Morning
Bow the knee in holy fear
Let each tongue declare him Savior,
every heart the Lord enthrone.
Praise to him who reigns forever—
God is King and God alone
